My experiences with Omega Sporting Goods in Jacksonville have always been positive. At a time when most businesses are only interested in the bottom line, it's refreshing to do business with folks that are genuinely interested in making sure the consumer is satisfied and educated. Most stores (including a large sporting goods competitor of yours down the road) hire just anyone that can run a cash register and "push" merchandise. The staff in your Jacksonville location is always courteous, professional and knowledgeable. My shopping experience this past Saturday was no different. I visited the store to "gear up" my two
sons for soccer. Since this is their first year playing, we were starting from scratch. The customer service we received from Justin was superb. He took his time to explain and compare all of the necessities. He and every other staff member there are assets to the store and to your company. Kudos to you for taking extra efforts to hire and train such professionals.

THIS IS A POSITIVE!!  Greenville North Carolina is most fortunate to have Brian the manager and his committed staff to serve our growing city. Over a year ago, I began my positive encounter with the Greenville store, all thanks to Brian. He took extra time to assist my endeavors and his patience and kindness will long be remembered by the shoe brand I wear. Prior to my visit to Brian's store, my shoe size had been incorrect and the brand not the best for me. I've remained a frequent shopper and I make sure all my friends know where to buy their sports wear and accessories. This sounds like a commercial, but it is the absolute scenario of on-going satisfaction with Omega Sports and the wonderful staff located in  the Greenvlle,NC store."

"Greetings, I just wanted to drop by and tell you what a great experience I had at Omega Sports in Winston-Salem yesterday.  I know so many people want to e-mail you and tell you if you mess up, but rarely take the time to mention praise, so I wanted to take some time today to sing the praises of Omega Sports off Silas Creek.  

I walked into your store yesterday frustrated from my 2 hour mall shopping experience.  :(  The shoes I had seen and liked either were too expensive or the wrong color (Carolina Blue, lol), and that was after waiting forever for service in most places, if I ever was served at all. I left the mall and headed across the road for "one last look" at Omega. I was greeted with smiles and eager assistance from Adam and the nice lady at the register.  Adam was very knowledgable he watched how I was walking and based on that recommended Brooks or Asics to me.  I was trying on the Brooks when I mentioned the clearance or posibilities of a sale, he went over to the clearance stack and pulled out the 2008 version of the 2009 Asics shoe I had just tried on 15 minutes prior which was $140 at the mall.  I was delighted when he told me they were $75!!!  Then he even offered me the treadmill to run on and give them a try, never seen that before!!!  Amazing, I just spent the last week online, in the mall, looking here and there, when all along a trip to Omega Sports would have saved me hours and hours of my time and ended up saving me $80!  But wait there is more!  I get to the register to pay and Adam tells me I can get $10 off if I sign up for the e-mail newsletter!  Of course I did.  Please pass this on to Adam and his co-workers, he needs a raise, a bonus, or both!  :)  Thanks for your time, see you the next time I have a need for sporting goods."

"Hello, I recently stopped by the Wilmington Store (03/09/09) and a sales person by the name of David assisted me with purchasing a new pair of running shoes.  Not only did he simply sell me some shoes but he took the time to figure out what type of feet I have, how I run and helped me with new insoles for an injury I have.  This took about an hour and at no time did he rush the sale or attempt to sell me just some BS.  He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable.  I have been to Omega before but now I am a loyal customer.  Thank you to David and Omega for employing an excellent person."

This past Saturday, my wife and I, who are new to the Huntersville area, went in to get a few of our racquets restrung and we met Adison, who was a huge help in providing us with exactly what we needed, and more. This professionalism, character, and good-nature really shined through and two of your newest customers really did appreicate it!

"I was shopping at North Hills Omega last night and had a wonderful salesperson wait on me. I did not get her name, but she was extremely helpful and in fact directed me to a less-expensive shoe that she had found to be just as comfortable and sturdy as the more expensive one that I tried on. She was a runner who also wore Saucony brand shoes - I really appreciated her honesty and her candor about the quality of the shoes I was trying on. I did not get her name but just wish to commend her.  The Store was the Raleigh North Hills store and I was shopping just prior to going to a 7:30 movie next door. My thanks to her and I just wanted the store to realize how helpful the staff are and always have  been to me."

"I just wanted to say thank you and let you know what wonderful staff you have representing your company here in NC.  The people here in Jacksonville, NC are always very curtious and helpful every time I go in for help.  However, while I was visiting my sister in Greensboro (around late April/ Early May) I recieved care that I think goes well beyond what any normal customer service would be.   I am training for my first marathon in over 15 years.  My running style and body shape have changed tremendously.  I needed shoes that would help keep my knees and feet from hurting so much.  I wish that I could remember the name of the girl that spent 3 hours helping me that day. She really was great  and listened to my concerns, and really looked the the way my foot is shaped, the way I stand, and the way I walk. We tried many shoes in a couple of sizes.   The shoes I took home (Asics Nimbus) have really made the difference in my training ability.  I was timid about it at first to remove the insole and replace it with the arch supports (Spencos), but she did it for me and cut them to size and really fitted the right sized shoe(I normally wear an 8 by my right foot, but she recommened the 8 1/2 , I never knew my left was actually longer than my right!) with the right support to me to accomplish my goals.  Other stores I visited were more interested in trying to sell me just any shoe that I might like for style or cushioning instead of taking care of needs.  The whole store was friendly and patiend and helped with a 5 year old boy that was beyond very bored.  Without all of their help, I don't think I'd still be able to enjoy my training.  I am also enjoying the socks she recommended and I'm enjoying the Brooks and Omega shirts I purchased there too!  Thanks again for having such wonderful, patient and knowlegeable people working for you!"

"I went to visit my son on Sun at ECU.  He needed a new pair of sneakers so my husband and I took him to Omega Sports.  My son received the most excellent service we have ever experienced from an employee named Tiffany.  She was knowlegable, patient and concerned regarding his needs.  He walked out with a pair of sneakers that fit perfectly.  On the way home we all remarked at what professionalism and knowledge Tiffany demonstrated.  I have 2 sons in Greenville and I work out daily. "Irene, Sam and Dave have provided excellent customer service on several
occasions during the last 2 months. I am recovering from spinal fusion
surgery (my back was fractured 50 years ago and I was not aware of it)
and the employees of the Arboretum store in Charlotte have gone above
and beyond in helping me purchase the best shoes and socks for daily
wear and water aerobics. I will continue to depend on the Arboretum
store and encourage others to shop at Omega in the Arboretum."

"I want to take a moment to let you know about the extraordinary service
I have recently received at the Cary location of your store. I live in
Southern Pines, NC (approx. 1 hour south of this store.) My teenage twin
daughters play competitive soccer and as luck would have it both of
their cleats "broke" the week before high school tryouts. They play so
much soccer, we must purchase "quality" cleats. This store had the
quality cleats we wanted (2 different pairs of high quality Adidas).
Unfortunatley, they did not have the size in stock, but found the cleats
at your Charlotte store and had them shipped to Cary. (We have shopped
on line in the past, but I appreciated the service and expertise that
your staff had about soccer cleats and their willingness to help us out.
My daughters are delighted with the cleats. I especially want to mention
the manager Jason, he was particularly helpful. I don't write letters
like this often, but he went above and beyond the call. I wanted to l
et you know about this wonderful experience. Thank you."

I just wanted to send a message along that I had a great experience in
the Cary, NC store. I was unsure what type of shoe I needed for casual
running and was helped by a very knowledgable girl (don't remember her
name) who suggested a couple of shoes which seem to be working out so
far. I have to say the knowledge, and customer care with Omega has been
over and above what I have come to expect from retail sevices. It seems
like the big box stores have customer service people who don't care or
don't know, but not the case with Omega. My wife and I have purchased
running shoes and workout gear from you over the last year and will
continue to. I cannot imagine going anywhere else.

I just wanted to say how great of customer service I got at Omega in
Charlotte at the Arboretum/Providence Rd location. I can't remember the
manager's name, he was a black man and was working the night of Monday
May 3. He was incredibly helpful and understanding of my problem with a
shoe malfunction. Because of his great service, I will most certainly go
to Omega to buy future running shoes.
